The one diff plugin (§C1), carrying two internal row-delivery modes.
document — the editor holds a synthetic buffer of the projected rows and the plugin publishes
them for the host to push in. Everything works because the rows are real document lines.
overlay — the editor holds the host’s live, editable buffer and deletions arrive as injected
rows. Non-parity by construction; see §C2 and test/overlayModeLimits.test.ts before reaching for
it.
